Lone Worker Safety Survey - Finding the Truth about Working Alone

Are you a lone worker?

Many people work alone.  With no-one they can rely on to come to their assistance if they have an accident or emergency, or need help, they are at greater risk than if they had the support of colleagues nearby.

Do you work alone in the evening, at night or on weekends, travel to meetings or visit clients by yourself, work alone in a shop, warehouse or on a worksite even for a short while, make home visits, meet with people you haven’t met before, or work back late in an office?  You could equally be isolated in the middle of a city or working in a remote location.

If you’re a lone worker we would like to invite you to participate in a short survey.  The survey has been developed to help raise awareness of the issues, risks and concerns of lone workers worldwide.  Our purpose is to gain a better understanding of the pressures and challenges you face, get a better picture of the real levels of violence, abuse and accidents, gather data and develop solutions to help make work safer for lone workers.

The questionnaire is completely voluntary and will take approximately 5 minutes for you to complete.  Your survey responses are strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate.  If you have any questions about the survey or the procedures, please us at [email protected].  Thank you very much for your time and support.  Please start the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.

Thank you

Thank you for participating in this survey. Your contribution is very much appreciated.  Please forward the survey to other lone workers so they can have their say as well.
